This happened on Friday night… I’m so proud to be part of the #LivingBlack team @nitv_au @sbs_australia for being awarded the John Newfong Award for Outstanding #Indigenous Affairs Reporting at the #Kennedyawards for a story I produced, "Just Kids" looking at NT #youthdetention.

Good to see the incredible #LivingBlack team from @nitv_au getting some recognition for the film we produced, Just Kids. It looks at the shocking treatment of young Indigenous people in detention, and alarming trends in youth incarceration in the #NT. See it on SBSOnDemand.
