Known as Tent City for Change, people called the grounds of the Colonial Building in St. John’s home for months. But one year ago, police and government workers came in and took tents and other belongings of people staying there. The CBC’s Darrell Roberts looks back with a man who lived there.

Tent city protesters don't want to go into shelters. These complaints we obtained explain why. There is no minimum standard for shelters in NL but a consultant has been hired to change that.
