Council Approves 30‑Year Ground Lease for 10,000‑Square‑Foot Hangar at Lockhart Airport Lockhart City Council approved a 30‑year ground lease with Lockhart Air Partners LLC for a 10,000 sq ft hangar to be used as an FBO base. Lease terms presented: 25¢ per square foot (per staff presentation), lessee to construct ramp and utilities, and the airport advisory board recommended approval; vote 7–0.

Lockhart City Council has just greenlit a major 30-year lease for a new hangar at the airport, paving the way for expanded aviation services and a $65 million investment!
