A mother mountain goat and her baby were attracting a lot of attention at the viewpoint near the visitor center. The mother is wearing a tracking collar. The short trail from the center to the viewpoint offers some of the biggest scenic bang for the least effort buck of almost anywhere we've hiked as well as close, but not too close, encounters with the residents of the park.
