2/ Her refusal to meet led to my #LongWalkForJustice Despite me walking from Montrose to parliament she still refused to meet me on the day I arrived there. Citing the fact that desk research vis the subject was ongoing and speaking to me would jeopardise the outcomes.
Despite never having met me, @AlexSalmond contacted me on the eve of my #LongWalkForJustice to wish me good speed. He was the *only* politician to contact me before and during the walk. May he RIP.
As with the #LongWalkForJustice I am hearing whispers that I am complaining about the Anniversary event simply to attack the current administration. This is not true. I never have and never will be a member of a political party. The below thread tells a bit about my 'politics'.
Saturday was the second time I've been snubbed at the Parliament. First was when I arrived after my #LongWalkForJustice - the then minister hid in the broom cupboard. Second was Saturday when roles were reversed and I was put in a broom cupboard. There won't be a third time. 🧹
Had a visit from No. 1 son and granddaughter yesterday. We discussed @Emma_Roddick 's lies and obfuscation during my #LongWalkForJustice Both agreed her handling of things was disrespectful and disgraceful as do their peer groups. That's 3 generations of the same view, minister.
Looking like I'll be here until next week so asked for my laptop. Might start writing the story of my #LongWalkForJustice plus can stream some programmes. Tried it last night on my phone but wasn't ideal.
An update on the Crowdfunder: I have not used any of the existing funds for my #LongWalkForJustice therefore these and all other funds raised will go directly towards a memorial to the trafficked children....
#LongWalkForJustice This is my route map. I've decided to take the coastal route from Kirkcaldy as that's safer traffic wise.
4/ all it would take is for her to make a formal offer of a meeting and preferably before 9am on 8th January when I'll be setting out on the first leg of my #LongWalkForJustice. Continued radio silence just makes it seem that I'm probably right.
Ach well here's me thinking that in ma absence the Minister for 'Equalities' would've been on here or even emailed admitting she's been telling 🐷🐷and offering a date for a meeting. But no, so it looks like the #LongWalkForJustice is definitely happening.
