While discussing current events and the nature of oppression and betrayal, I was asked "How do you carry that hope in your day-to-day? What helps you hold onto it?"

This was my response.

If people saw life like I do, they would not blindly accept what passes for living. Instead, they would aim to love and expand their understanding of each other and our connection to the universe. They would not spend life buying, selling, and hurting each other. They would not avoid feeling. They would find value in this life. Heaven is not in the after. It's here now. God is not a separate being. God is love. It's You and Me Love is God. She suffered greatly from depression, but learnt to love herself as she began to acknowledge her intense romantic love for women, coining the phrase, "Love is God" from the old saying "God is Love."
