Today in #LaborHistory 10/10/1933: 18,000 #M3xican cotton workers struck in Pixley, California. 4 killed, but they ultimately won a raise. The #union led 24 #strikes in San Joaquin Valley in 1930s. Owners used bankers, merchants, ministers & Boy Scouts to attack the workers.
