i am rereading the manga and it seems the anime is at least explicit that Kinosaki Mei is doing sex work to pay for his brother's medical bills, moved to marriage swindling, and got on the bad side of some dangerous people

I ship them too! I found myself continuing to read the manga even if the over the top shonen fights are not always my jam, I like Gero enough as a character to stick with it and yes, BEST BRO looking after his sister!

S tier premier. Gero and Kinosaki's unlikely friendship coming from an assassination is already comical but the twist of Kinosaki being a boy AND Gero's sister being gay makes this whole story so much more interesting. Loving the underworld setting as well

Very Shounen Jump. Pretty alright, considering. Good enough presentation, a few nice animation cuts. I like the base premise. Too Shounen Jump for me.
Aside from that, my main criticism would be that characters repeat something and it works the second time.

Good comedy and the characters have good chemistry, there are times you can tell it's not taking itself seriously and it plays into that very well

I was curious about Marriagetoxin ever since I read its absurd premise months ago, but watching the first ep... it's actually interesting! It's a romcom with murder on the side, and it's WEIRD 😂
This is either gonna be VERY good, or I may end up dropping it, but it's a good start!

É pouquíssimo provável deles avançarem como casal, dado ao objetivo do protagonista, mas não seria ruim caso fossem pra frente ( ^-^)
