Renaissance Faire fountain where a woman in a white cap, mantle and apron over a black dress holds up a handwritten wooden sign reading “the ALMIGHTY LOATHES” with “the RENFAIRE” on a slate hanging below. This Puritan-esque protestor will write various LOATHED items on the slate throughout the day.
Sunday: first visit to the Faire in years was a great success, and the rain drove off a good chunk of the crowd. Thank you, mysterious weather witches.

Gold dragonborn warlock costume.
Rawr! Gold dragon visited the #MDRenFest today! It was hotter than expected, but still fun. I would have been more mobile if it were cooler, and I didn't get to go everywhere I wanted in costume. Still was nice to wear this partial again!

Tomorrow is the third year in which my attempt to go to the Renaissance Festival is to be washed out by rain. The rest of the season is sold out. Do I need to buy multiple sets of weekend tickets for this event so that I can actually get to it?! So frustrating. #mdrenfest
