Fitfully Blowing Breeze (Close, Cleaving): The Avis Americae
furiously beats its wings, Sending itself Flying. The air pressure
Staggers all in range and inflicts 3 Harm.
Red Glare (Near/Far, Path): The Avis Americae stares down a
combatant, inflicting Dazzled, Staggered, and Vulnerable. The
monster then swoops towards them. All combatants in its path
are knocked Prone and suffer 3 Harm.
Morning’s First Beam (Close, Splash): Lays an explosive egg
and then hops a Near distance away. At the start of the Tempo
Change, all Close to the egg suffer +2 Metal. If Airborne, the egg
drops a Near distance to the ground below and explodes,
applying Metal to itself.
TEMPO CHANGE: HALF CONCEALS, HALF DISCLOSES
The Avis Americae launches itself into the air, soaring quickly
over the battlefield and remaining at a Far distance from the
ground. Unless grounded, the monster targets a scavenger
during the next Tempo Change, diving down and raking them
with its talons, knocking them Prone and inflicting a Blister.
While the Avis Americae can still fly with broken wings, any
further damage to those broken wings will end its flight
immediately, sending it hurtling to the ground and falling Prone.
ENRAGE
At 125 and 60 Health, the Avis Americae squawks in pain and
spreads its wings wide, Sending all Close combatants Flying. Twin miniguns burst from the wing joints and pepper all in a Near Line,
inflicting 3 Harm.
While Enraged, the miniguns
coordinate their fire with the
monster’s attacks, inflicting 2
Harm to all in range.
