There are so many counsellors and psychotherapists registered with PACFA and ACA who are trained in evidence-based practice and could easily step in to fill the gap.
Also, how many people know that you can also see an AMHSW or MHOT under a MHTP? Even many GPs don’t know.

So what happens with continuity of care here? Is this program trauma informed?
And still no more than 10 MHTP sessions in a year? Not even for those of us with severe psychosocial disability who are being denied therapy funding under NDIS?

Thursday is my day to serve my therapeutic music practicum at hospice.
Pause at the door, center my heart. Knock and ask if I may play music that soothes, comforts? Assess breath, tension, facial expression. Listen.
