Metalman is a Robot Master from MM2 that is famously known for being weak to his own weapon, also his weapon breaks the game completely.

This was originally done as a "hidden trick" to ensure players could discover something new upon replaying this game.

He is not a dentist.

MM 11 lists its Robot Masters as "DWN" which is short for "Dr. Wily Number". However, the in-game gallery states that each one of them has a different manufacturer.

This is either an oversight, or for some reason manufacturers decided to produce Dr. Wily's designs for him.

Megaman Legends was the first 3D Megaman released, however, the N64 version is known as "Megaman 64"

This is not only due to the fact it is on a N64, but also might be a reference to the fact it takes places the furthest in the timeline and could be the 64th game chronologically. #Megaman #MMFacts

Inside Highsby's shop in MMBN, you can find posters for both Zero and Vile.

In MM Legends you can find a TV showing what seems to be Protoman and a poster of Zero, "A comic book hero".

The Classic and X series most likely never happened and are just fiction in both timelines.
