A woman with platinum blonde hair walks with her back turned towards a wooden door. She's wearing an off-the-shoulder short sleeved shirt with blue, white and peach stripes, khaki coloured shorts and brown walking boots. She is carrying a Pickhammer, a large tool that is a cross between a pickaxe and a sledgehammer. She is looking to her left at a white wanted poster on the wall. The poster shows a man with a cowboy hat, with white hair in a ponytail and a black bandana covering most of his face. His eyes look away to the left.
Zoey climbed the creaky wooden steps to the Commerce Guild, hefting her newly crafted Pickhammer in tow. The tool wasn’t particularly hard to build when you have crafted a pickaxe and a sledgehammer dozens of times, making it a very easy initiation test. A flash of white caught her attention out of the corner of her eye, and she glanced over at an oh-so-familiar sight: a Wanted Poster. It depicted a white-haired man in a cowboy hat, his features obscured by a black bandana. She knew the locals probably questioned why the convict was depicted with their mask of choice, they always do, but it makes sense when the target is always going to be wearing it. It will always be much more recognisable than their actual face. The reward sum was impressive: 100,000 gols. Either this guy was incredibly dangerous, or someone was desperate. 9 out of 10 times, it was the latter. Zoey tore her eyes from the poster and shook her head, attempting to free herself of her habitual appraisal. That life was behind her now, she was a civilian. Leave it for the Civil Corps.
Zoey's first day in Sandrock and she's already eyeing up the first Wanted poster she sees. Despite her best efforts, she will find herself in the path of the local outlaw soon enough.
