The larger ducts are wrapped in foil-backed insulation, hot and cold water services are red and blue respectively, circular white ventilation distribution ducts are largely bundled together and various electrical cables weave in and out.

One question I asked service engineer Richard Hollas was whether there is less contamination in #MVHR units in homes in the countryside.
He said there's no rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes they're in real need of some TLC whether in towns or rural areas!

- A little bit of purging of the air at the end of hot days.
