Those of you awaiting my continuation of the #Maccathon... I've reached a stalling point with Egypt Station. I'm really struggling with it and am trying to work out if I actually like anything on it. 😬 I need to listen to it a few times to figure this one out...
I’m going to stick my neck out and say that this (from 2007’s “Memory Almost Full”) is my favourite #Macca song since 1980! I think it’s absolutely wonderful. So many ideas, sounds, hooks, in 3.5 minutes. #MaccaThon
As @michaelshallcross.bsky.social and I continue our #MaccaThon, I can honestly say that *every* one of his solo studio albums since 1989 are, at the very least, a solid 7/10. I’m at “Memory Almost Full” (2007) and there’s no let up in quality. Not bad for a chap writing tunes since the late 50s!
