1982 - construction began on the southern side between MacEwan Drive and MacEwan Glen Drive
By 1984 the community expanded northward
By 1988 the area within MacEwan Drive fully built up
By 1995, MacEwan has essentially filled out to it's present shape
At the 2021 census, #MacEwanGlen had a population of 4,740, down by 315 from 2016.
The land that is now MacEwan Glen was annexed by the City of #Calgary in 1976.
Construction of the community by various developers began in 1980 and continued through 1996.
