M'ahina holds Thancred's arm as they take a stroll through Gridania. They are spotted by M'ahina's aunts, who she is estranged from, and they immediately start berating her.
M'ahina lets go of Thancred in shock. Her aunts continuing chastising her. Thancred makes a glance towards M'ahina, who has turned away clenching her fist.
Thancred is surprised to see M'ahina so downcast and not standing up for herself. He steps in front of her, holding his arms out protectively, and tells her aunts to leave. M'ahina looks up at him in shock. Her aunts glare, but Thancred doesn't back down.
Her aunts continue glaring, but make a glance towards each other and eventually leave. Thancred only drops his arms when they turn away. M'ahina stays behind him.
Thancred and M'ahina accidentally bump into M'ahina's family in Gridania. It doesn't go well 🥲 (more to this story later but for now I wanna do other stuff)
