Good morning, Linton and Breakfasters. It’s always good to see your studio. Max Richter’s On the Nature of Daylight and the St Matthew Passion were both superb today. As for Proms highlights, Saturday’s #Mahler2 is my current one but just being at a Prom is an amazing experience.
Tell me I wasn't the only one mesmerised by Kahchun Wong's conducting of the spectacular Mahler's Second Symphony with the Hallé at the #Proms! I hadn't heard of Wong until today, but I'm now a fan.
