#MahlerToday To acquaint Mahler with “his” new orchestra (THE New York Phil), in March-April 1909, two “festival” concerts were arranged (by Henry Wolfsohn).

The second concert, which took place on April 6th, included only Beethoven's Egmont Overture & 9th, Symphony.
