Thank you, Maine...
For your time. For your voice.
For your solidarity. For your kindness.
Thank you.
We as organizers started this journey exactly three months ago when we rallied together to pull off an event on February 5th with a megaphone, a table of snacks, and a ton of hand warmers.
We've come a long way in a short amount of time. Today, we had thousands of people join us to make their voices heard in Augusta, across this incredible state and throughout the nation.
None of this would be possible without you all. The people. Showing up and showing out.
And it definitely would not have gone as well as it did without our massive crew of volunteers who worked to ensure things went smoothly and safely, our incredible sound team, the Huddled Masses Orchestra, Capitol police, Augusta PD, and so many more.
THIS is what democracy looks like.
We also want to thank our incredible speakers:
Emily Jayne
Erin - National Nurses United
Rep. Valli Geiger - State Representative
Katie
Greg - Knox County Dems
Lucy
Adriana- Presente! Maine
Claire & Faith: Maine Coalition for Palestine & Jewish Voice for Peace
Andy - Showing Up for Racial Justice - Midcoast SURJ
Sophie - Maine Democratic Socialists of America
THIS is what democracy looks like.

Our volunteers worked tirelessly to compile and organize resources across the state so you can easily find what you need and where to get involved by category and region. We also have some helpful resources about sustainability, legislation, and protest safety.
We truly cannot thank you enough.
We are going to rest for a bit, and then get back to it. Nobody is free until everyone is free.
Take care of yourselves.
Due to the character limit restriction here, our full post-action statement has to be in screenshots. Shared to FB at Maine Resists as well.
