2 points of advice I give young artists about lettering: The worst mistake you can do to have your work look the most amateurish is having poor lettering. & when composing your pages, keep in mind your lettering.

Sadly, Jack Cole ended his life on August 13, 1958.

COMICS & SEQUENTIAL ART was required reading in Will Eisner's Sequential Art class at the School of Visual Arts. It was the course’s text book. I recall having to purchase the book directly from Will. This is the second printing, 1986.
