On #ThisDayInHistory in 1939, #British military courts in #MandatoryPalestine allowed the #flogging of children with canes & birch. A report the next month showed a 13-year-old #Palestinian boy had been sentenced to 18 lashes & ten years in prison for lightly wounding a #Zionist.
