The Markarian's Chain is a striking alignment of galaxies located within the heart of the Virgo Cluster. Named after astrophysicist Benjamin Markarian, it consists of at least eight galaxies, including the prominent M84, M86, and the interacting pair known as "The Eyes." While they appear as a curved line from Earth, most are physically linked by gravity and move together through space.

The spring is about to start with 2 cloud free nights and I'll try to capture the #Markarian Chain. Today the first part: 4.8 hours images stacked by #Seestar S50 and adjusted with google photos by the phone.
It is located at a distance of about 50 to 60 million ly (15-18) megaparsecs (Mpc).
