I follow a number of people who post in more than one language. In my preferences, in the "filter languages" section I have checked only "English". Despite this I see posts in other languages on my main timeline.

I no longer seem to be able to translate toot text. In fact I can’t even select text unless I’m composing. Did I mess something up with this app? #mastodonhelp
Is it really still a problem, that #Mastodon won't (or can't) show me all posts that are part of my #timeline, just because boosted posts can be from remote instances, that mine doesn't know about?
And because of that, they're just missing? Shouldn't this be solved by now?
