E.g. in #HigherEd where they're simultaneously stringent on #plagiarism but beginning to allow students to use LLMs/AI (which harvest content without acknowledging authors)
At #MaynoothCrimCon I spoke about #EpistemicAnomie and #AcademicTheft as it relates to #AI.
However, one point I mentioned was the background #SurveillanceCapitalism that underpins such models. This is a good description of that point.
