Front of both packages, hanging on legs in a store. Pac-Man Game Keyring is a simple, black and gray LCD version of the game. It has an arcade accurate maze layout, albeit with less dots. Pac-Man Arcade in a Tin is a foldable version with a full-color screen. I'm not sure which version of the actual game code it is, but not precisely emulated since the screen is horizontal instead of vertical.

Backs of the packages with screenshots, Fizz Creations manufacturer info, and the Bandai Namco logo. Both tout "original sounds." The keyring is $16.99 and the tin $32.99.

#MazeMonday I saw these two Pac-Man games at a roadside stop in February 2025: Pac-Man Arcade in a Tin and Pac-Man Game Keyring. Didn't buy either, I'm afraid. (Those are Tetris versions of the same things behind each.) #PacMan

#MazeMonday A tin shaped like a #PacMan arcade game that originally held Pac-Man candy. The side art was not modeled after a real coin-op, but the portion around the screen is based on—but not an exact match for—the Midway coin-op.

#MazeMonday Here we have #PacMan Mashems. Squishy versions of the Pac-Man characters. Series 1 came in small plastic canisters and included Pac-Man and the ghosts. Series 2 came in balls and I don't remember what all was included beyond the blinking ghost.

#MazeMonday It's a #PacMan puzzle. But not a jigsaw puzzle. "Assembly 4 Pac-Men then reassemble them to form 3 Pac-Men." The secret is the 3 have their mouths closed, so they're just circles.

For a long time, I was sure the puzzle wasn't available in the colors on the box, but it is.

#MazeMonday My mother picked up this pair of #PacMan glasses from an estate sale or thrift store recently. They have familiar 1982 imagery, but only printed in three colors, so the host monsters look weird. I'm more used to seeing it in full color on mugs.

I pluralized the hashtag in this first #MazeMonday post and never since, so I'm reposting it so it can be found with the rest.

#MazeMonday Not vintage, but from just a few years ago, Pac-Man playing cards. Each suit matches a color of a ghost monster (red, light blue, orange, and pink). It occurs to me that #PacMan himself therefore doesn't appear on the cards.

A repeating pattern of identical Pac-Man mazes. Each row is offset to the horizonal halfway point of the mazes above and below it. The text at the top, where the scores would be, says, "NO. 1 HAPPY BIRTHDAY NO. 1." There are only a smarting of dots and one energizer eaten. All four ghost monsters are out of their starting box which has the text, "HAVE FUN!," in it. Pac-Man is about to eat a birthday cake with a single candle on it where the fruits normally appear. The spot where Pac-Man starts says, "ENJOY!" The four typically empty areas above and below the side tunnels have four different items in them. One is either a pink balloon on a short string or a lollipop on a stick. Another is possibly a milk shake with a straw. The third is a wrapped candy. And the fourth is a soft serve ice cream cone. At the bottom the player has three lives on the left. On the right are, from right to left (because that's the way the fruits indicating the levels are added): a white present with blue ribbon and bow, an ice cream cone, a light green balloon, a shorter white present with a red ribbon and bow, and a party hat.

The same as the previous photo, but without the reflection of the flash and slightly more muted colors.

#MazeMonday Pac-Man birthday gift wrap. Back during the era of Pac-Man fever, Hallmark was one of Midway's many licensees and produced many items, including gift wrap. I found this in a thrift store in the '90s! I've included photos with and without flash. The colors are truer in the former. #PacMan

The high score is 125,000. Above the maze is the Pac-Man logo in an arc. The other three sides have a purple border with a line of white dots in it. At the bottom is Pac-Man chasing four blue ghosts. Pac-Man again has an arm ending in a white glove. He now also has legs, this time ending in a naked, toeless foot. The ghosts again have arms ending in tan mittens. The back image is again identical with the exception of an added UPC.

The purple edges fold around to the inside. On the left pocket are the four ghosts, now in their normal colors, fleeing left above and behind the Pac-Man logo. The right pocket again has a block for name, school, and class which Inky is above and slightly behind fleeting left. Pac-Man runs left from the far right, looking exactly as he did on the front, again eating the word "portfolio". The information block is filled out (and redacted). The class is filled out as "Anything". As a bonus, you also get an ad for "Return of the Jedi" (the blue lightsaber poster) that I pulled out of a magazine and put in the left pocket over 40 years ago.

#MazeMonday I did a binder for Star Wars Sunday yesterday, so today Pac-Man gets folders. I bought both these at the same time c. 1982. Can you tell which I used and which I didn't? I believe there's a third design that I'm not sure why I didn't also get. Maybe Kmart (IIRC) didn't have it? #PacMan

#MazeMonday One of this year's Father's Day gifts: a heat sensitive Pac-Man mug. My cell phone camera sees the pattern somewhat when it's not as visible to the naked eye (photo 1). But if it's more visible in photo 2 after heating. They got it used, so I can't tell you where to find one. #PacMan

#MazeMonday This plush #PacMan is not something I had as a child, but one I bought off eBay in the '90s. This Pac-Man design was available with at least one other shirt. His bottom is stuffed with nut shells to help him sit. The rest is stuffed with, well, read the tag.
