A matter of personal significance given my politics, the #AnarchistExclusionAct was signed into law in 1903 on #ThisDayInHistory by #TheodoreRoosevelt. Passed in the wake of the #McKinleyAssassination, it barred new immigration to the USA by #anarchists, #epileptics, & #beggars.

Sept 6, 1901: President William McKinley was shot at the Pan-American Expo. He died days later, ushering in Teddy Roosevelt. 🔄 Proving Gun Control issues have been around for quite a few years.
