America’s #MIT barred Indian-American student #MeghaVemuri, 2025 class president, from attending graduation after she delivered a pro-#Palestinian speech at a May 29 event. Vemuri was also removed from her role as commencement marshal, the university confirmed.

Apparently #MeghaVemuri was forbidden from being allowed to walk with her classmates in the #MIT graduation ceremony after giving this speech. Absolutely outrageous and MIT should be ashamed of themselves.

Shame on #NYU and shame on #MIT . By punishing #LoganRozos and #MeghaVemuri for speaking out against genocide of Palestinians, while we see new and more horrific images of starved or slaughtered children every day, they proved that they stand on the wrong side of history.
