A ceramic bowl, white but with an unglazed rim. There's a salad of diced cucumber, crumbled feta, torn-up nocallera green olives and dried oregano, dressed with olive oil and lemon juice.
A stainless steel bowl with a very green looking slaw of thinly-sliced apple and fennel, sprinkled with toasted cumin seeds and za'atar, garnished with dill and mint, and dressed with olive oil, lemon zest and juice.
A thing I completely made up. Thinly sliced radishes and mangetouts, with pomegranate jewels scattered over them. Some coriander leaves and Sumac, a few strips of lemon zest.
Had dinner in the garden tonight. So lovely, there's something very special about it, especially in places like Scotland where options are limited.
