This first set feels like a blow-out (6-1) for Gauff at first glance but you flip the long, tightly contested 2nd and 3rd games in Muchova's favor (which could have easily been the case) and it would be the same score the other way.

#MiamiOpem | Naomi Osaka is through to the fourth round after an epic 7-6(6), 3-6, 6-4 victory over Hailey Baptiste.

Osaka, who eventually got over the line a minute shy of three hours (2hrs, 59mins), takes on sixth seed Jasmine Paolini next.
