The 2023 Abbey Road half-speed master. Beautiful!
Can’t believe this was only £12.99 from Assai Records. Absolute steal.

Their first album since 1996, and the first to feature the classic four-piece OMD line-up since 1986's The Pacific Age.
A fantastic return to form.

Ten years after ‘The Crossing’, Big Country remind everyone they are not just a bagpipe-sounding flash in the pan.
This is a fantastic album that cranks the guitars up loud and proud.

Bought this on cassette when it came out, then on CD
Ultimately succumbed to MP3, then streaming.
Now I finally own it on vinyl. Sounds as glorious as it looks.
Without question the best they ever made, with nothing that followed coming close.

Electric Light Orchestra - A New World Record 1976

If ‘Out of the Blue’ was ELOs Opus Magnum, then ANWR was a more than fitting Overture.
Bristling with the classic ELO sound, this record is up there as one of the best.

The best Christmas single ever
I was 18, in the army, and out in a cold, snowy Duisburg when this came out ❤️

The glory days had passed when this came along, but still a very decent record. Has, in my opinion, stood the test of time better than Discovery, which was a massive commercial success.
