🌎 Coppery-headed Emerald (Microchera cupreiceps) The Coppery-headed Emerald is a tiny hummingbird, with males having a bright metallic-green body, a distinctive coppery-bronze crown and rump, and white outer tail feathers. Females are more subdued with a white belly. It is endemic to the highlands of Costa Rica, where it is found in the edges and interior of montane forests.
