Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze -
I'm waffling a bit on this one. As much as I liked it, it still falls victim to common harem romcoms tropes.
Still, it remained a very enjoyable show throughout the season with fun, memorable characters & some legit touching family drama.

Miwa gets the first kiss!
I'm glad the season ended on what has been it's best arc & my favorite love interest for Yuu.
I hope in future seasons we get more of a focus on the pair of sisters that aren't the focus of the arc, as those interactions have been the best of the show!

I'm glad to get some solid backstory on Sakura & think it did just enough to create doubt that maybe she is the heroine of this story rather than Miwa.
We even get a fun tease of her joining the cast proper (if we ever get a season 2).

I love that Miwa's struggles committing herself to Shogi feel very unique when compared with the other sisters.
It was also great to finally get some acknowledgement to Yuu's cooking skills & to tie that directly back to Miwa's feelings of her own selfishness.

Anime Like Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze The Mikadono sisters are all remarkable. They are prodigies respectively in shogi, karate, and theater and their skills are to be aspired to. By comparison,

I know harems are for goonin', but this one has a lot of cute heart!

Starting this arc felt like a much needed breath of fresh air & really seemed to get back to what made the first half of the season so enjoyable.

Her reluctance to go back is interesting. Niko & Kazuki are pretty locked in to their respective skills, I'd love to explore Miwa's commitment to Shogi & if she wants to give it up.

I loved seeing all the sisters get their time to shine (& fail). I hope we get something like this to close the season out, because it is when the show is most enjoyable.

Setting up each sister to try & out-girly the others only to have them outdone by Yuu was a ton of fun!
Yuu being so locked-in on supporting them & being a family does a serviceable job obfuscating any romantic feelings he may have, which is a very common pitfall for harems.

This was a solid arc for Niko, but it lacks the fun or tension of Kazuki's.
I would really like if the next arc deals with something other than that it's okay to be girly while doing what you love. It's certainly a good message, but I hope that's not the arc for all three sisters.

It's time for the Niko arc! So far, its not playing as well as Kazuki's did. This is mainly because, while Yuu is being supportive of her wishes, he's also hindering her growth by encouraging her to stay.
