Written for day 4 of MinaKushi Week 2025: wedding vows, home is where you are. - “Slow it down, will you, Kushina?!” shouted beak-nosed Nanami from the back. “Why are you so hellbent on getting to the Leaf Village so quickly?” Hazuki scoffed beside Kushina. She caught her smirk behind the curtain of black hair rustling through the wind. “The war is over,” Hazuki replied, her voice rising above the rush in that familiar matter-of-fact way of hers. It was her easy way of talking and her effortless methods of understanding others under her watch that made her so well-liked, after all. “Don’t you want to go home?” - Or, Kushina returns home. And Minato does too.
