Last week we had colored Scizophyllum Commune, the Common Splitgill. Here’s a stack of white ones on the side of a tree. They are fuzzy.

I sat down on a bump on a tree and heard the singing behind me. Looked behind thr tree and found burgundy colored Maroon Madrone Tubaria. This is a single mushroom; cap, stem and gills all the same color. They grow on madrone trees. I haven’t found any since these in 2020 in Mendocino County
