Gray founded the #MissionGrayWolf22 program to provide military groups opportunities to attend Rangers games. He was the Rangers 2023 Lou Gehrig and Bob Feller Act of Valor nominee. In 2024, he was inducted into the North American Indigenous Athletics Hall of Fame (NAIAHF).
