5:30pm today, Santa Cruz was dispatched to a swimmer in trouble off of Mitchell's Beach. Firefighters and Rescue Swimmers quickly responded and got the victims out of the water. There were no injuries to the victim or rescuers.
I paused a sec because the harbor patrol boat sometimes does a recovery.. but GREAT NEWS and a happy ending to this one.. @nativesantacruz.bsky.social has the intel. Firefighters and swimmers to the rescue! 🛟 #MitchellsCove
