3/ One back claw shed its sheath as I touched it. The others may be readying to shed. They seem to be particularly tender at that point of the growth cycle.

2/ It's hard to figure out where to blunt MiuMiu's back claws without hitting the quick. It's a common problem with black cats. Fortunately her front claws are pale and clear.

One cat down (MiuMiu), one to go (Ike) doing feline mani-pedis.
It was a bit less pedi, she kept squeaking when I tried doing her back claws, I assumed they're sensitive and left most of them. They're pointy but not really long or sharp at this point so they should be fine for a bit. 🧵

MiuMiu ran away from an offered Churu! Not like her. I coaxed her to accept one, at arms length, a few minutes later.
Ike accepted it squeezed onto a plate. I got suspicious looks while he was busy inhaling it.
Neither want to get within grabbing distance of me. Heh.
