Maybe a loaded question for the current climate…  What does the #MonolingualBias look like in your classroom or community? In what ways is English or another language given priority over other languages? And how do you show that you value #multilingualism in your classroom practices?

Since living in the U.S. and raising kids here alongside parents in the community, thoughts about how hard schooling will be for them in two languages have crossed my mind. This would have been unquestioned if I were still in Hong Kong (or basically anywhere else in the world)! #monolingualbias.
