Took a couple days off to explore #Huntsville and camped at #montesanostatepark above the city’s eastern edge. Enjoyed the primitive camping and loved roaming through the surprise gardens out there.

The #NorthAlabamaJapaneseGarden at #MonteSanoStatePark is a beautiful area to see for yourself. In 1988 the Garden was started by Robert Black along with his children. Featuring various plants. In 1991 a Tea house was built in the midst of the Garden. #TeaGarden #Gardens #outside #AlabamaStateParks

This #Tulip-treeBeauty landed on me in #MonteSanoStatePark . It’s found all along the east side of the United States. If you are ever around these sneaky guys, you’d probably never know it. Their pattern helps them blend in amazingly well with the bark on trees as they lay completely flat.
