Morocco stocks lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.42%
Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Utilities, Banking and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Douja Prom Addoha (CSE:ADH), which rose 7.44% or 2.53 points to trade at 36.53 at the close. Meanwhile, IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC) added 6.10% or 2.18 points to end at 37.91 and Residences Dar Saada SA (CSE:RDS) was up 2.81% or 2.70 points to 98.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delta Holding S.A (CSE:DHO), which fell 8.05% or 7.00 points to trade at 80.00 at the close. Med Paper (CSE:MDP) declined 4.61% or 0.99 points to end at 20.50 and CTM (CSE:CTM) was down 3.44% or 32.50 points to 911.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 30 to 22 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.26% or 0.78 to $61.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.31% or 0.84 to hit $63.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 18.79 to trade at $3,341.19 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.39% to 10.44, while USD/MAD fell 0.33% to 9.23.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.44% at 99.35.
