Incentives for disposing of old motorcycles need cooperation from local industry – Loke
SEREMBAN: The Transport Ministry is willing to consider implementing incentives for disposing of old motorcycles, but this can only be implemented if it receives cooperation from local manufacturers. Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the implementation of the programme required the involvement of the industry, similar to the old vehicle disposal initiatives implemented by national car manufacturers such as Proton Holdings Bhd (Proton) and Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua). “So far, there is no incentive to dispose of old motorcycles.
