Needful #Magic, no. 63 - #Invocation for people who were insufficiently #mourned - not that guy mourned by the president, if you were mourned by a president, however incoherently, like whatever, you were sufficiently mourned. This is for Charles Rocket (his #death haunts me) and people like him.

The grandfather clock had been silent for over a year. Any attempts to #wind it up & get going again failed. They #mourned its passing with one final #rejuvenation attempt #resembling nothing more than acknowledging the clock’s demise. Time for the junk yard.

Grief

What we,
never speak of,
secrets trauma survivors
share,
all the yous,
those past yous,
that had plans,
that wanted kids,
that wanted different jobs,
that wanted better childhoods,
that married/dated hurtful people-
All those yous,
deserve to be #mourned,
grieved.

Sometimes it’s refusing to cry to be strong for others.
I’ve #mourned the loss of loved ones, people, animals, insects, Earth when she suffers devastations.
