#MtCuba

Getting ready to fill my palette for Saturday’s #Pleinairpainting at #MtCuba in Hockessin #Delaware. It is a public #garden that has nearly all native plants. The four ponds that I like to paint by are all pump driven. There are an abundance of tadpoles, frogs, and dragon flys. The finished painting sold a few years ago and was the closest to Monet looking ever. I’ll post the finished painting in another post. Mt. Cuba is truly An amazing space and a photographers dream as well. Check it out if you’re in the area as they are open daily if memory serves. This painting was from 9 years ago.

Plein air painting’s a favorite thing I do.There’s an artificial fabulous multi-pond setup at one of public #Delaware #gardens called #MtCuba. It’s hard to believe they’re pump driven and not spring fed as there are tadpoles, lilies, dragonflies, that add to “real” of place. I love #painting there!
