Following heavy rainfall in Dec '25 & Jan '26, parts of South #Somerset are still flooded in the Environment Agency's Winter Reservoirs. This is a view of #Muchelney in the foreground & #Langport in the background. Most of the heavy rain came in two storms, Ingrid on 24th Jan & Chandra on 27th Jan.
Still plenty of roads flooded in South #Somerset since Storm #Chandra flooded the area on January 27th. Here is the road out of #Muchelney Ham. Current water depth being ~30cms in places.
