'A very sad day for Kidderminster' reactions to carpet museum closure THE news of the impending closure of Kidderminster's carpet museum has led to an outpouring of sadness at its loss.

The lower gallery has some of the original display cases whilst the walls of the top floor are decorated by a mural with graffiti elements. A very long canoe is suspended high up on the wall and a totem pole to the right of the image rises up from the floor below.
