Moonlight and the Pearler’s Daughter by Lizzie Pook is set in North Western Australia in 1896. Location is Bannin Bay but I think it’s a made up name. About 30 pages in and would recommend if you like historical novels. I can feel the heat she describes and the smells of the place. Sets you in there!
