Go to your inventory or an item you want to build with the rare item. Or the gate. You'll get a description of the item; click on the right arrow to see locations
If you get a "this item will not appear in current weather" message, that item isn't there today (unless it's in a barrel or something)
If you don't see a message, go get the item! (Diamonds are in rocks fyi)
For the dusky lumber, you gotta chop down the whole tree. (Ditto any less usual material. For diamond, copper, iron you gotta demolish the rock, etc) ...you don't want to know how long it took me to figure this out 😅
ALSO! If you're doing MySekai and you want to know when/where there's a rare material drop (💎, dusky 🪵, 🎶, 🍀), you can go to an item to build or your inventory #mysekai #projectsekai
If it doesn't say "this material will not appear", bingo)
