Me sorprende que siendo mi juego más jugado un CRPG no aparezca RPG como el género más jugado. Que se note que participe en el #MysteryGameAug y quedó la marca de los juegos de detectives.

Between the nut cannon, FMV boudoir, and nearly everything in Salamander County....the round-up video I make for #MysteryGameAug is gonna be....interesting.

I really hope they make a sequel to Stories from Sol: the Gun-dog. Not sure how many endings there are, but the one I got had a pretty romantic moment

I really liked the characters, style, and all the mech anime references lol

Playing Stories from Sol: the Gun-dog on Nintendo Switch. There's a chair on a spaceship facing a bunch of monitors and controls with various circles displayed on the monitor. From what I recall of playing the demo a while back, early on the lights go out & you point n click to turn them back on and deduce why, so that counts as a mystery to me!

I managed to finish the true end of Chaos;Child in time for #MysteryGameAug 🎉

Tbh I was a lil let down. The pacing was painfully slow at times, & 1 major twist, I'd guessed correctly back in chapter 1. I liked some of the silly side routes better than the true end route. Still glad I tried SciADV

#MysteryGameAug update & I'm at ch. 9 of Chaos;Child

I feel like I've been on this one route for ages. There's a big twist in ch 8. I thought it was going to be a trick, b/c the timeline and murder weapon make no sense, but I fear it's being played straight. Still hoping for a good conclusion 🤞

Mi plan original era termina Dual Destinies y quedarme así con el #MysteryGameAug pero me pico la curiosidad y empecé Return of the Obra Dinn.

Segui con el #MysteryGameAug y terminé un tercer juego, esta ves le tocó a Kona.
Un juego que si bien me gustó, no me terminó de convencer su lado más sobrenatural.
Lo jugué más que nada porque me llama la atención las historias del frío norte, estilo Jack London y sin saber mucho que esperar.

Made it to chapter 2 of Chaos; Child & so far, it's really interesting. Production value is crazy! And Miyashiro is like the embodiment of chuunibyou. And I love the nostalgic interface for reading web comments about the murders. Gives me .hack// vibes ♥️

Virginia, una experiencia de lo más curiosa que se desarma bastante sobre el final.
Eso sí, es un juego hipnótico que te atrapa sin tener texto ni voces.

Nerd Girl Goals – August 2025 Two months with no real goals has not been good for me in any way, and I figure it’s not going to serve me any better with Blaugust starting tomorrow. I need to rediscover my focus, and figure out what all the changes in my life over the last several months mean for the future of Nerd Girl Thoughts. I’m not quite ready to call this my last hurrah, but if I cannot get it together it very well might be. Probably the biggest problem is – I’m just not playing much of anything at all. I’ve got a surface level interest, sure, I’m still buying new things, checking out bundles, and keeping up with new releases that appeal to me. But when it comes time to sit down and actually play something? It’s just not happening. I’m keeping up my with puzzles, and playing stuff on my regular co-op nights, but I’ve just kind of … mislaid my spark for single player titles and MMOs. …and I can’t even tell you where all the time I’m not spending playing games or writing about them is going. * * * ### Gaming & Blogging #### The Goals * Complete all the requirements for the **Community Builder Badge** during Blaugust 2025. * **In Review** & **Nerd Girl Goals** to bookend the month. * Complete the monthly trading post goals in **World of Warcraft**. * **Play at least 10 hours of single player games during August of 2025**. * Do the daily **Sexaginta-Quattuordle**. * Do the daily **Logic Town** challenge. I realize that, even still, these are very light goals for me. But I’m kind of looking at this like exercise – when you haven’t done any in a long time, you need to build back up slowly or you’re likely to hurt yourself. So I’m starting small, and seeing if I can find my spark. The **Community Game-Along’s** theme for August is Mystery Games, and boy howdy do I have a bunch of those, and I do love a good mystery. Maybe that will be enough of a push to get me back to finding the joy in gaming alone. Ironically. #### OTHER NERDSTUFF #### The Goals * Read or listen to at least **four books** during August. * Watch at least 20 movies as part of my 100 Horror Movie project for 2025. * Put at least **4,000 stitches** into any of my current works-in-progress. It’s going to take nothing short of a full on miracle to make my 2025 Good Reads goal of 48 books by the end of the year, but four will still be four more than I’ve managed to read in a month since January. I haven’t ruled out revising that goal downward, but I’m also not quite ready to do it just yet. I’m not overly worried about the movies (and I’m still setting the bar low because I should be watching closer to 35 to stay on track), and cross-stitch is the one hobby I’ve managed to pick back up like I never stopped. I need some wins this month, and I’ll take them where I can get them. * * * Reminder: It’s not too late to set your own **#Blaugust2025** goals.
