Our panel Saara Idelbi, Jon Baines & Ibrahim Hasan are taking questions & giving their thoughts on the DUA Bill. Concerns about automated processing without our knowledge, increased marketing emails from charities & what the government will allow data to be used for. #NADPObham25
Ibrahim Hasan doesn't expect anything to happen for a year or so if it's passed soon. The decision on the UK's adequacy will be made by the EU once it's adopted. #NADPObham25
There are also concerns over automated processing and the potential for more personal data it to be used without the data subject being able to object. #NADPObham25
Ibrahim highlights the potential concerns around the extension of Purpose Limitation where annexe 2 of the Bill could be added to and a 'Trojan Horse' effect could see all sorts of reasons added to use data for things it wasn't originally collected for. #NADPObham25
ActNowTraining 's Ibrahim Hasan is pondering the Data (Use and Access) Bill as it ping pongs though the legislative process. He's highlighting some of the changes the bill may present to us, and also what has been taken out. #NADPObham25
